At Custom Oil Painting, we pride ourselves on creating unique, personalized artwork for each customer. Due to the custom nature of our products, we generally do not support returns or refunds for bespoke oil paintings or high-quality canvas prints. However, we understand that unforeseen issues can arise, and we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction under specific circumstances.

Conditions for Refund or Replacement

A refund or replacement may be considered only under the following conditions:

  • Significant Discrepancy Between Physical Product and Design Proof:

    If the physical product you receive is significantly different from the design proof or preview image you approved during the ordering process, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement. To qualify, you must provide clear comparison images demonstrating the severe discrepancy within 72 hours of receiving your order.

  • Damage During Transit:

    If your painting arrives damaged due to shipping, you must provide photographic evidence of the damage to both the product and the packaging within 72 hours of delivery. This evidence is crucial for us to file a claim with the shipping carrier and arrange for a replacement or refund.

Process for Claims

To initiate a claim for a refund or replacement based on the conditions above, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer support team at gary@customoilpainting.com within 72 hours of receiving your order.
  2. Provide your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
  3. Attach clear photographs or videos that clearly show the discrepancy or damage (as per the conditions above).

Our team will review your claim and respond within [X] business days with further instructions. Please do not return any items before receiving confirmation and instructions from us.

Non-Refundable Situations

Please note that refunds or replacements will generally not be issued for:

  • Changes of mind or subjective dissatisfaction with the artistic style (as our artists work based on the chosen style and your provided image).
  • Minor variations in color or detail that are inherent to the hand-painted or giclée printing process.
  • Damage caused by improper handling or display after delivery.
  • Claims made beyond the 72-hour notification window.
